Presale in Hummerce lets you sell a product before it's physically in the warehouse - the customer adds it to the cart like a regular product, and the shipping date is deferred to the day the product becomes available. The module is useful for stores that run stock management and announce new collections or plan a delivery for a specific day.

¶ How presale works
- Presale is intended for stores that run stock management and offer delivery (or shipping) on a specific day.
- A presale product can be added to the cart like a standard product.
- The shipping (delivery) date to the customer is deferred - e.g. when the seller doesn't have the product in stock yet, or is waiting to announce a new collection's availability.
- A date can be set from which the product becomes available.

- In the panel, on the item's edit screen, Parameters tab:
- Available from (
_availableFrom) - the date from which the selected item will be available, - Number of days the product is available in presale (
_availableDaysBefore) - how many days before the presale date expires the item will be available.

- the default availability (in days),
- how often the task that marks items as available in presale runs,
- whether that task should run at all.

- We do not verify the configuration for legal compliance - informing the customer about the delivery date of a presale product is set by the store.
