The Hummerce admin panel is a single workspace for the whole store team - orders, items, customers, marketing and configuration in one interface, shared by the B2C store, the B2B store and every additional view. This page shows what a new team member sees right after logging in: choosing a view, search, filterable lists, and a record of who changed what.
As of Hummerce 2.27-2.35, updated 2026-09-29.
¶ Benefits and use cases
- One panel for the whole team - orders, catalog, customers, marketing and configuration in one place, instead of several systems.
- Fast lookup of an order, item or customer - full-text search works with a single field, without choosing a criterion separately.
- A secure admin account - login can be protected with two-step verification (2FA), and every change in the store is recorded in the history.
- Lists built for daily work - always-visible filters and bulk operations instead of clicking into every record separately.
- One panel, several store views - a switcher in the header lets you work on the B2C store, the B2B store or a foreign version without logging out.
- Team access control - roles restrict an admin to the menu items and views they're allowed to use - useful when working with an agency or a subcontractor.
¶ Login and account protection
- An admin logs in to the panel with the account's login and password.
- Login can additionally be protected with two-step verification (2FA) - a code sent by email or from an authenticator app - turned on globally for the store and separately for each admin's account. Full description: Admin Panel and Store Security in Hummerce.
- The panel header shows a view selector: -- All -- or one specific view (e.g. the B2C store, the B2B store, a foreign version).
- The selected view decides which items, orders and customers the lists and data exports in the panel show.
- An admin's role can restrict access to selected views - such an admin then has no -- All -- option. Full description of the views mechanism: Views - several stores in one panel.
- A single search field above the items, orders and customers lists searches any phrase in the object's data, without choosing a specific criterion separately.
- Full-text search works separately on each of these three lists - it is not one shared search for the whole panel.
- Alongside full-text search there is also standard search - by specific criteria (e.g. status, date, payment method).
¶ Lists, filters and bulk operations
- Panel lists (orders, items, customers and others) scroll within the table with a sticky column header, and their filters stay visible regardless of list scrolling.
- Bulk operations let you perform one action on several selected records at once (e.g. change the status of several orders, or the main category of several items) - instead of opening each record separately.
- Applied filters and the table layout are remembered in the admin's browser between visits.
- The store records changes made in the panel - admin logins and changes to orders, items, customers, configuration and other objects - with the option to filter and archive older entries. Full description: Change History - Store Change Audit in Hummerce.
- Admin roles restrict access to selected menu items and views - an admin sees only what their role allows.
- The AI assistant (MCP) and the REST API use exactly the same permissions as the panel account they are connected with. Full description: Admin Permissions - Roles and Permissions in the Panel.
- The admin panel is a core part of the platform - available in all current store versions.
- Full-text search in the panel - from version 2.34.
- The current list layout (scrolling within the table, sticky header, always-visible filters, bulk operations in the pagination row) - from version 2.34.
- Two-step login (2FA) - from version 2.35.
- Change history for all objects and information about the changed object - from version 2.35; archiving of older entries - from version 2.33.
- File manager permissions in admin roles - from version 2.33; the same permissions for the AI assistant (MCP) - from version 2.35.
- Works right after an update - panel access, search, filterable lists and change history are part of the platform, with no development work.
- Requires configuration when onboarding a team - creating admin accounts, setting up roles and the scope of permissions, and deciding whether to turn on two-step login.
- The scope and time of this configuration depend on the number of roles and admins - we quote it individually, together with setting up panel security.
- Full-text search works separately on the items, orders and customers lists - it doesn't search everything with a single query.
- Without 2FA turned on, an admin account is protected only by a password - see Panel security limitations.
- An admin's role restricts access in the panel; the AI assistant and REST API operate with exactly the same permissions as the account they are assigned to, but this is not an extra restriction beyond that account's role.
- We do not verify the configuration for legal compliance - the rules for a team's access to customer data are set by the store.
- A single shared full-text search across several lists at once.
- Per-admin list layout personalization.
- A panel security report (who has 2FA turned on, recent logins) - see Security - future development.
Does logging in to the panel require two-step verification?
Depends on the store's configuration - 2FA is turned on and configured separately, and each admin then sets it up on their own account. Details: Admin Panel and Store Security in Hummerce.
Does one panel handle a B2B and a B2C store at the same time?
Yes, with the view switcher in the panel header - lists and exports show data from the selected view, and an admin with a restricted role only sees the views assigned to them.
Does the panel's search look through any phrase?
Yes, from version 2.34 - separately on the items, orders and customers lists, alongside search by specific criteria.
Can you check who changed data in the store, and when?
Yes, in the change history - it records changes to orders, items, customers, configuration, and admin logins.
How long does it take to set up the panel for a new team?
Access itself works right after an update, with no development work. Configuring roles, permissions and two-step login for a team is quoted individually, depending on the number of admins and roles.
