¶ Product feeds and price comparison sites in Hummerce
Product feeds in Hummerce are automatically generated files with the store's offer for price comparison sites and advertising platforms - including Google Merchant and Ceneo. The store additionally exports items directly to the Ceneo, Nokaut, Skąpiec and Okazje.info price comparison sites. This gets the offer into further sales channels without manually preparing files.

¶ Benefits and use cases
- Automatic, recurring generation of offer files for price comparison sites and advertising platforms - no manual work at every price or availability update.
- A file generated in advance and saved on the server responds faster than calculating data on the fly on every fetch - less load on the store.
- Ready-made templates for Google Merchant and Ceneo - just set up a feed with the right symbol.
- Exporting items to the Ceneo, Nokaut, Skąpiec and Okazje.info price comparison sites extends the offer's reach beyond the store itself.
- Access to the feed file can be protected with a password, and an inactive feed can be turned off without deleting its configuration.
- A history of every generated file - shows when a feed was last read and from which IP address.
¶ Feed list and configuration
- Panel: Marketing -> Feeds - a list of added feeds showing whether they are active and whether they generate in real time, with a file preview.
- On the list you can: edit or delete a feed, review the history of generated files, preview the last saved file, and add a new feed.
- Settings for a single feed: a unique Symbol (creates the file address, e.g.
/do/productfeeds/google.xml), an optional Access password, Generate feed in real time (Yes/No), Is the feed active, Start time (empty = store startup), File generation frequency (1h / 3h / 6h / 12h / 24h - required field, 24h by default) and Fetch frequency for real-time feeds (no more often than every 5 minutes).
- Information about the last file: last update, last generation time, last read, and the reading IP address.
- The recurring task "Automatic feed generation" runs every hour and checks which feeds are due to generate a new file according to their frequency.
- The new file is saved under a different name and swapped in only once saving is finished - a read never hits an incomplete file.
- A feed marked for real-time generation skips the saved file and calculates data on the fly on every read - slower, but always with current data. Reading such a feed is limited to the configured fetch frequency.
- An inactive feed returns no access instead of data.
- Google Merchant and Ceneo have ready-made file templates - just set up a feed with the right symbol, with no need to write your own template.
- A feed in another format (for a platform outside the ready-made templates) is prepared individually by the implementation team.
- Independently of the feeds module, the store has prepared mechanisms (to be enabled during implementation) for exporting items to the Ceneo, Nokaut, Skąpiec and Okazje.info price comparison sites. Every exported item gets a separate address with the item's symbol, which you can use to check whether it made it into a given price comparison site's export.
- Enabling the export to a chosen price comparison site - selecting items, the access data the site requires, tagging the traffic source - is implementation work, not a switch available on your own in the panel.
- Background feed generation (schedule, password, activity, history) - since version 2.27.
- Export to price comparison sites (Ceneo, Nokaut, Skąpiec, Okazje.info) - a core platform feature, available for many years.
- The Google Merchant feed template - available in the standard configuration.
- A Google Merchant Center account or an account with the chosen price comparison site - outside Hummerce, under that service's terms.
- Item criteria deciding what goes into the feed or export (e.g. visibility, availability, purchasability) - set during implementation.
- Tagging the traffic source from price comparison sites - see Campaign and traffic source tracking.
- A new feed in a ready-made format (Google Merchant, Ceneo) - setting up the feed in the panel (symbol, schedule) and passing the file address to the price comparison site or to Google Merchant Center.
- Enabling an export to a price comparison site (Ceneo, Nokaut, Skąpiec, Okazje.info) or a feed in an individual format - preparing the configuration or template by the implementation team.
- Minimum estimated time:
- a new feed in a ready-made format - from 2 h,
- enabling an export to a price comparison site - from 3 h,
- a feed in an individual format - quoted after analyzing the recipient's requirements.
- The time for a specific implementation depends on its scope - we quote it individually.
- What the time depends on:
- the number and complexity of required fields (attributes, variants, prices, availability),
- the number of views and currencies covered by the feed,
- the specific price comparison site's requirements for file format and traffic tagging,
- the store's version - an older version without the background generation mechanism needs an update first (quoted separately).
- The file generation frequency can't be empty - the most frequent possible value is 1 hour, and the task checking the queue runs once an hour.
- A real-time feed calculates data on every read - with frequent fetches it loads the store more than a file saved in advance.
- Ready-made templates cover Google Merchant and Ceneo. A feed in another format requires preparing a template during implementation.
- Enabling an export to a price comparison site (Ceneo, Nokaut, Skąpiec, Okazje.info) is done by the implementation team - it isn't a setting available on your own in the panel.
- We do not verify the task for legal compliance (e.g. price comparison sites' terms, Google Merchant requirements, GDPR).
Can the store generate a feed for Google Merchant?
Yes, the module has a ready-made template - just set up a feed with the right symbol.
Does the feed refresh itself, or does it need to be generated manually?
Automatically. A recurring task generates the file according to the configured frequency (from 1 to 24 hours), and reading it returns the saved file.
Does the store support price comparison sites other than Ceneo?
Yes. Nokaut, Skąpiec and Okazje.info have prepared export mechanisms - enabling them requires configuration during implementation.
Can access to the feed file be protected?
Yes, with an optional password added to the file address. An inactive feed can also be turned off without deleting its configuration.
Is being listed on price comparison sites free?
It depends on the site - registration, commissions and fees are set directly with that service, outside Hummerce.
How long does it take to launch a new feed?
A feed in a ready-made format (Google Merchant, Ceneo) - from 2 h. Enabling another price comparison site - from 3 h, depending on scope.
Want to check which price comparison sites and advertising platforms are worth enabling in your store? Contact the Hummerce team (in Polish).
- Feed list: Marketing -> Feeds - columns: creation date, symbol, real-time generation, activity, preview, operations (edit, delete, history).
- Feed details: symbol, password, real-time generation, activity, start time, generation frequency, fetch frequency for a real-time feed, generated files history tab.
- Export to a price comparison site (Ceneo, Nokaut, Skąpiec, Okazje.info) - configured outside the panel, by the implementation team (a configuration file with access data and item criteria).
¶ REST API and MCP
- REST API: no dedicated operations for feeds or price comparison exports.
- MCP: general module configuration tools (
ec2_module_describe, ec2_config_search, ec2_config_get) - see AI assistant - MCP server.
The module has no messages visible to the store customer - the feed file and the price comparison export are read by an external system (the price comparison site, Google Merchant), not by a store visitor.
Item criteria for what's visible in the feed or in the price comparison export (e.g. visibility, availability, assignment to a specific price comparison site) are set individually for each recipient during implementation.
