¶ Reports and statistics in the Hummerce panel
Statistics in Hummerce show in the admin panel how the store is doing without leaving the platform - rankings of the most popular items and content, order statistics over time, and basic customer data. This is a built-in platform feature, available right away, with no integration with external analytics tools.
Last updated: 2026-09-29. Statistics in the panel are a core platform feature, available in all current Hummerce versions.
¶ Benefits and use cases
- A quick picture of the store with no extra tools - rankings and statistics are visible directly in the panel, with no need to configure Google Analytics or spreadsheets.
- Top 10 rankings - the most viewed items, items most often added to the cart, most viewed categories, most active customers, and most viewed content (pages).
- Order statistics - order value over time, additional order costs, and a ranking of delivery and payment methods by number of uses.
- Statistics embedded on the object itself - on the card of a single item, customer, category, page, delivery method or payment method, you see its own data over time, without going to a separate report.
- Data available to the AI assistant - sales over time, best-selling items, and the most valuable customers through MCP, without opening the panel.
- A basis for deeper analytics - for a longer history and more complex reports, the store can move data to Google BigQuery and Looker Studio.
- The Statistics menu has the Customers, Items, Orders, Contents, Rankings and Time statistics tabs.
- A store with an affiliate program has an extra PP Stats tab - a separate module, see Affiliate Program - Partner Commissions.
- Rankings show a fixed list of 10 items: the most viewed items, items most often added to the cart, most viewed categories, most active customers (by visits), and most viewed content (pages).
- The Orders tab shows order value over time, additional order costs, and a ranking of delivery and payment methods by number of uses.
- Besides the summary tabs in the menu, basic and time-based statistics are also visible directly on the card of a single customer, item, category, page, delivery method or payment method - with no need to go to a separate screen.
Statistics in the panel are a core feature of the Hummerce platform - they work in all current store versions, with no update required.
- Statistics are calculated automatically from store events (orders, customer visits, item, category and page views) - they don't require separate configuration or activation.
- A longer history and more complex reports require moving history to Google BigQuery and Looker Studio reports - this is a separate, implemented module.
- Affiliate program statistics (PP Stats) require the Affiliate program module to be enabled.
Statistics work after an update - this is a core platform feature and doesn't require implementation in the typical sense. Implementation is only required to extend the scope beyond the standard screens, e.g.:
- deeper analytics and a longer history through BigQuery and Looker Studio,
- additional breakdowns or data export beyond the standard statistics screens (quoted individually, after analyzing the existing module's code).
- Rankings have a fixed number of entries - Top 10 - this number isn't configurable in the standard version.
- The scope of statistics is fixed (standard module) - other data breakdowns (e.g. sales split by Views) or combining data from several areas at once require an individual extension.
- A longer history and more advanced analytics are only available once data is moved to BigQuery and Looker Studio - the standard statistics screens show current store data.
- We do not verify the configuration for legal compliance (e.g. the scope of tracking customer behavior in the panel versus GDPR) - this is set by the store.
- A configurable number of entries in rankings (currently always Top 10).
- Exporting data from the standard statistics screens to a file.
- Additional breakdowns, e.g. statistics split by store view.
- Tighter integration of the standard statistics screens with Looker Studio.
Does Hummerce show a ranking of the most purchased and viewed items?
Yes. The Ranking tab shows fixed Top 10 lists: the most viewed items, items most often added to the cart, and the most viewed categories.
Do statistics also cover customers, orders and content, not just items?
Yes. Separate tabs show customer statistics (activity, visits), order statistics (value over time, deliveries, payments), and content statistics (viewed pages).
Does the statistics module need to be implemented separately?
No. It's a core platform feature - it works right away once the store is launched, with no extra work.
Can you see a longer sales history than what's in the panel?
Yes, by moving history to Google BigQuery and Looker Studio reports - see Reports - BigQuery and Looker Studio. That's a separate, implemented module.
Can the AI assistant read the store's statistics?
Yes - through MCP: sales over time, best-selling items, and the most valuable customers.
Want to see how reports and statistics could work in your store? Contact the Hummerce team (in Polish).
- Statistics menu: Customers, Items, Orders, Contents, Ranking, Time statistics (plus PP Stats when the affiliate program is enabled).
- Statistics on the object card: the card of a single customer, item, category, page, delivery method and payment method has its own panel or tab with that object's statistics.
- Access to the Statistics menu depends on the admin role's permissions - see Admin permissions.
¶ REST API and MCP
- REST API: no dedicated statistics resources - data is read through the standard order, customer and item resources in the REST API.
- MCP (AI assistant - MCP server):
ec2_analytics_sales_summary - number of orders and turnover over a period, broken down by day, week or month.
ec2_analytics_best_sellers - best-selling items over a period (quantity and sales value).
ec2_customers_top - customers who spent the most over a period.
- The tools require permissions matching the panel's permissions (the Statistics group for sales and items, the Customers group for the customer ranking).
