Hummerce lets you run sales to individual customers (B2C) and businesses (B2B) in the same store - on one panel, one product catalog and one customer base. The wholesale view and the retail view differ in prices, access, payments and delivery, but share the assortment, warehouse, orders and ERP integration. The store doesn't need to build or maintain two separate systems for the two sales models.

The mechanism is based on Views - each view (e.g. B2C and B2B) has its own settings, and the store elements below are assigned to chosen views or work for all of them at once.
The B2B view and the B2C view are two independently configured views of the same store - the customer switches between them in the store's header, or lands in the right view automatically (a newsletter link, the delivery country, the domain). Details of the switcher and the ways a view is chosen: Views - several stores in one panel.
The B2B view usually has the Available only to assigned users setting - only a logged-in customer assigned to that view can enter it, e.g. an employee with a company account. A guest or an individual customer won't see it.
Price lists and individual prices and promotion rules are set For all views or only for chosen ones - so the B2B view can show wholesale prices and the business customer's individual terms, while the B2C view shows retail prices and consumer promotions, without two separate product catalogs.
Payment and delivery methods are assigned to views the same way prices are - e.g. deferred payment only in the B2B view, online payments (BLIK, card, PayPal) in the B2C view. The cart only shows the customer the methods assigned to the current view.
Company accounts work in the same customer base as individual accounts - a company has several employee accounts with a manager, and an individual customer has a regular account. Store staff see both customer types on one list in the panel.
An item is created once and assigned to the views it should be visible in - it doesn't need to be duplicated separately for B2B and B2C. The warehouse, order handling and ERP integration are shared across all views (warehouses can also be assigned to chosen views, if the store needs that). Every order records which view it was placed in, which makes it easier to report sales separately for the B2B and B2C channels.
The B2B and B2C views can work under one store address, or - with the multi-domain module - under separate domains (e.g. store.example.com for B2C and wholesale.example.com for B2B), still on a shared panel and a shared database. Details - the "Multiple domains" section on the Views page.
An individual customer enters the store in the default view, browses the catalog at retail prices, and pays online or on pickup - the full journey is described on B2C sales - overview. A business customer logs into an account assigned to the B2B view, sees their company's prices and terms, and an employee's orders can be approved by the account manager - the full journey is on B2B sales in Hummerce. Both views use the same catalog, so a new item goes on sale in both channels as soon as it's assigned to the views.
Does Hummerce support B2B and B2C in one store?
Yes. The store runs sales to businesses and individual customers on one panel, one product catalog and one customer base, in separate views.
Does a business customer see different prices than an individual customer?
Yes. Price lists, item price rules and cart promotions are assigned to chosen views - the B2B view can have wholesale prices and individual terms, the B2C view retail prices and consumer promotions.
Is the B2B view only available to logged-in companies?
Usually yes - the B2B view has the "Available only to assigned users" setting, so only customers assigned to that view, e.g. company account employees, can enter it.
Can the B2B and B2C store have separate domains?
Yes, with the multi-domain module - each view can work under its own domain, still on a shared panel and a shared database.
Does an item need to be created separately for the B2B and B2C store?
No. An item is created once and assigned to the views it should be visible in - the catalog, warehouse and order handling are shared for both channels.
Can B2B and B2C orders be split apart in reports?
Yes. Every order records the view it was placed in, which lets you report sales for the B2B and B2C channels separately.
